Metropole. The Metropole Theater was open in the early 1980s. Later it became a christian center and more recently became a concert venue again, now called the Miramar. It was originally a vaudeville house, then the Fred Miller Theater and the home of the Milwaukee Repetory Theater.

Wendy O. Williams Legal Defense Benefit at the Metropole (March 9, 1981) Poster by Guy Hoffman. Wendy was arrested during her January 18, 1981 show with the Plasmatics at the Palms in Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Police beat her up during her arrest for lewd behavior and disorderly conduct. (She eventually was aquitted.)
