Wild Kingdom was hugely popular in Milwaukee in the late 1980s & early 1990s. They were on the brink of national stardom when they broke up and reformed as Citizen King without Kingdom front man Paul Finger. Citizen King would later go on to world wide fame with their first major label debut, but they didn't last too long after that.
The first 6 clips were shot by me (yr host, Ron Faiola) at Shank Hall on November 23, 1990. It was the night before Thanksgiving and Wild Kingdom had cooked a full turkey dinner which was promptly tossed into the audience. You can see Paul put the finishing touches on the poor bird to start the show. (Shank Hall owner Peter Jest was furious with the post-show mess but it didn't stop him from booking WK again.)
The video clips are Windows Media Video files between 4 MB and 11 MB. Clicking on the link will download the .wmv to your computer.

This last Wild Kingdom video is a compliation I made for the band in 1992 or 1993. The song is Jump Stomp and Dive and the footage was from a variety of shows I shot over the years - Summerfest, Green Bay, Shank Hall, Lake Park Bistro (whatever it was called back then in the pre-Bartolotta days). Watch Paul Finger smash the brand new ceiling at Shank Hall. Another migrane moment for club owner Peter Jest.
The clip is a Windows Media Video file 9.2 MB. Clicking on the link will download the .wmv file to your computer.
